Wedding Photography Stamford Alice and Jonathan

Working as a professional wedding photographer gives you opportunity to meet some lovely people. I had a super day shooting the wedding of Alice Grigson  and Jonathan Ticehurst  at St. Andrew’s Church West Deeping, near Stamford.

The Bride looked simply stunning wearing a full length lace dress and arriving at the church in a horse drawn carriage , attended by bridesmaids and pageboys.

It was a great pleasure shooting the complete wedding day from start to finish. The bride and groom had a  fantastic reception at the Manor House in West Deeping, situated near Stamford Lincolnshire.

Normanton Church Wedding at Rutland Water

Wedding at Normanton Church – Rutland Water

Kate and Lewis were married at Normanton Church located on the banks of Rutland Water and later had a private marque situated in the nature reserve.

I photograph several weddings at Normanton Church Rutland every year and love the beautiful settings of the the sunken church at the waters edge.

Wedding Photographer Stamford – The George Hotel

Wedding Photographer Stamford – The George Hotel

As a professional wedding photographer living near Stamford, I have recently been covering weddings at The George Hotel nearly every other week.

I absolutely love Stamford and of all the wonderful wedding venues such as Burghley House, The William Cecil and The Crown Hotel but have a particular soft spot for The George Hotel of Stamford. I know the staff all very well and the venue feels like a home from home, which helps to use all of the hotel to full when performing wedding photography, especially when the English summer weather has been so poor this year.

My photography started with some preparation shots of the bride getting ready at The George Hotel, with Vanessa’s mother and some of her brides maids helping.  The wedding service was being held in The Henry Whincup room and was attended by many close family and friends.

After the ceremony the guest had drinks on the patio and the monastery gardens, with very changeable weather the wedding party made the most of the brief sunshine, before having a full wedding breakfast in the Oak dining room.

If you are getting married or have an event at The George Hotel in Stamford or any other venue in the area or in fact the UK please give us a call on 01778 348967 as we would love to photograph your wedding or event.

Martin & Lyndsay Wedding Photography at Woolsthorpe by Belvoir

Martin and Lyndsay were married in Greece but also had a full wedding blessing and reception when they returned for friends and family in the UK.

It was a fantastic day and I started off with some informal and very relaxed wedding preparation shots at the brides house. With bridesmaids and flower girls and the page boy all getting ready at the same time it had a nice frantic chaos so often experienced when the bride is rushing to get ready.

The wedding service was held at St. Andrews in Denton, followed by the reception at the Chequers in Woolsthorpe by Belvoir Castle.

Wedding Photography at Wadenhoe House

Wedding Photography at Wadenhoe House Oundle – Rachel and Stuart.

Wadenhoe house is one of those wedding venues that you cant forget, a beautiful manor house set in acres of manicured lawns with stunning views over Northamptonshire countryside.

I have shot many weddings over the years at Wadenhoe House and my day started with bridal preparation shots of Rachel and her bridesmaids. It was a hectic start with make-up artist, hairstylist and four girls all trying to get ready at the same time.

The groom was equally as busy as he had three best men to look after, with two literally flying in from the USA late the previous evening, so some frantic suit trying on along with some very snazzy converse trainers to set the theme.

The civil wedding ceremony was held in the grand room within the main house, followed by drinks on the lawn, with a full wedding breakfast in the Wedding marque. The weather was very changeable with losts of bright sun and heavy showers, this did not dampen the day for the newly married couple.
